Thanksgiving with Love

In November for Thanksgiving, Our Truck had broken down and we were unable to serve groceries at our Myrtle Beach location. We serve a great many homeless using the parking lot of the Myrtle Beach Community Kitchen, Refresh Volunteers knew we had to do something, so we came together each making food from our own kitchens to set up a buffet style line for anyone to come and have a Home cooked Thanksgiving meal. The turn out amazed all of us as we just so happened to serve at least 75 individuals. It didn’t appear at first, we were going to have enough food. By the grace of GOD, the food was enough to feed them all. Then as we were getting things packed up and ready to leave another large group came looking. It broke our hearts to see there were more who were Hungary. God was surely watching because he sent a young man driving a van full of 100 lunch bags of food that he handed out till all were served and he moved on. I’d like to say the Good Lord sent an Angel!! It is such an honor to be out there doing all we can for those in need. None of us are rich financially but we are all very rich with LOVE and want to share it with all!!
